NCRI – A man was hanged in Amol, Northern Iran, and three prisoners were sentenced to death in Tehran, according to state media.
The man identified by his first name Behrooz was hanged in the courtyard of Amol police station, according to reports.
The men sentenced to death in Tehran were identified as Kian, 41, Reza, 28 and Adel 25 years of age.
The number of executions and death sentences issued since Ahmadinejad was appointed as mullahs’ president last summer has gone beyond 200. International human rights organizations have expressed concern over high number of executions in Iran.
