More public hanging reported in IranNCRI – Clerical regime’s news agency IRNA reported today that a man was hanged in public this morning for alleged murder back in 2005 in a village in Isfahan province, central Iran. The man identified as Ali Salahshour, was 33 years of age.

Other state media reported today that a man identified as Hossein S., 24, was hanged on Saturday in Qazvin, north western Iran, for alleged assault on women.

The number of executions in Iran has been on the rise in recent weeks raising concern among international human rights organizations.
