Mrs. Rajavi strongly condemns murder of political prisoner Hale Sahabi in her father’s funeral

Fascist mullahs cannot continue rule without one day of executions and torture

NCRI – The fascist mullahs ruling Iran, this morning, Wednesday 11 June 2011, perpetrated another inhumane crime. IRGC guards and plainclothes agents of Khamenei raided the burial ceremony of Mr. Ezzatollah Sahabi, and murdered his daughter Hale Sahabi through beating her until she passed out and died. Subsequently, the regime called this villainous and heinous crime a “heart stroke”.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian resistance, strongly condemned this flagrant crime perpetrated in front of public eyes, and expressed her condolences to the Sahabi family.

Mrs. Rajavi said: “Today’s shocking atrocity regarding a political prisoner, reflects the heinous nature and the unbounded barbarism of this regime, which cannot even tolerate a burial ceremony, and cannot continue rule without one day of executions and torture.

The President-elect of the Iranian Resistance called for the referral of the Iranian regime’s continuous and barbaric violation of human rights profile to the UN Security Council and the prosecution of the regime’s leaders in International tribunals for crimes against humanity, a regime that upon its own statistics, has executed 200 prisoners in the first 5 months of the Christian year, and has sentenced hundreds of other prisoners to death, whom are awaiting the implementation of their sentences.
