Zafir al-Ani: Concerned about Iran’s influence in Iraq after withdrawal of U.S. forces, especially after Iran said “it will fill the gap”

NCRI – Dr. Zafir al-Ani, one of al-Iraqia leaders, expressed concern about spread of Iran’s intervention in Iraq after withdrawal of American forces from Iraq, Al-Rafedain TV reported on May 8.

According to al-Rafedain, al-Ani said: Al-Iraqia can feel the danger of Iranian regime after U.S. forces leave; this is cause for concern especially after Ahmadinejad said that he would fill the gap and replace the American forces in Iraq.

Zafir al-Ani reiterated that armed groups are changing their tactics and carrying out their killings with guns equipped with silencers, rather than kill with explosions, explosive packages or sticking bombs.
