Female political prisoners including relative of Camp Ashraf residents in harsh health conditions, assaulted and beaten

NCRI – Those female political prisoners who were recently transferred from Karaj Gohardasht prison to Varamin’s Qarchak prison are being terribly mistreated and assaulted by regime’s prison guards.

The Center for Support of Families of Victims reported on May 6 that that these female prisoners are not provided with minimum health related necessities and are facing serious difficulties. When they protest the inhuman conditions and pressures, the prison guards savagely beat them and verbally abuse them.

According to this report, Kobra Bannazadeh-Amirkheezi, a political prisoner and a relative of Camp Ashraf residents, who is suffering from acute health problems, was subjected to threats and abuse by the prison guards.

In response to protests by these political prisoners, who are now in the same prison with the dangerous criminal prisoners, operatives of the clerical regime beat and assault the prisoners and verbally abuse them.
