Iran: Widespread “Fire Festivities” confronting Iranian regime

Fire Festival- No. 1

NCRI – Challenging the down-falling Khamenei and his various officials who had described the “Fire Festivities” – a traditional ritual celebrating the last Wednesday of the year – as “against religious laws” and “forbidden”, the brave people of Tehran celebrated these festivities all around the city. They turned this celebration into a scene of protest to express their hatred of the despicable velayat-e faqih establishment. Sounds of fire cracker explosions and sonic grenades were heard from all corners of Tehran.

From 7 p.m. people lit fires in Mohseni Square chanting “Death to dictator” and “Dictator, your time is up.”
In Gisha, courageous youths chanted: “Khamenei, shame on you, let go of the country”.

Sounds of the energetic youths were also heard in Sabalan and Golestan Avenues in the Shahak Gharb area (western Tehran).
