Commemorating International Women’s Day on the Eve of March 8 in Stockholm, Oslo, the Hague and Gothenburg

NCRI – On the occasion of International Women’s Day, an event commemorating March 8 was held in Stockholm, Sweden with MPs and dignitaries as well as members and supporters of the Iranian Resistance.

The speakers included:

Beatrice Gorenburg, from the Central Council of the Women’s Committee of the of Social Democratic Party of Sweden

Annika Hyrvanen Falk, Member of the Swedish Parliament

Charlotta Shane Helm, from the Women’s Committee of the Liberal Party of Sweden

Kaka Baveh, Member of the Swedish Parliament from the Left Party

At this meeting, Ms. Rabieh Mofidi, central council member of the (MEK/PMOI) and a number of the Iranian community leaders and supporters of the Iranian Resistance delivered speeches.

In Gotenbourg, Sweden, a meeting and exhibition was held on the eve of the International Women’s Day in which Swedish dignitaries and supporters of the Iranian resistance participated and speakers stressed on their support for the struggle of the Iranian people and resistance , led by 1000 Ashraf women. The speakers included: Lisbet Anderson Sanden, Member of the Swedish Parliament from the Moderates Party, Didar Savet, President of the Women’s Association of the Centre party and Sahab al-Rafei lawyer from Syria.

In Gotenboug meeting on the eve of International Women’s Day, Ms. Zakia Hojjati and Marzieh Mansouri, members of the PMOI (MEK) and a number of the leaders of the Iranian community members in Sweden gave speeches.

In Norway, on the eve of International Women’s Day a conference and exhibition in the capital Oslo was held with Norwegian dignitaries, and members and supporters of the Iranian Resistance. Speakers of the Oslo event included:

Marianne Martinson, Member of the Norwegian Parliament, Maratha Shelby, coordinator of international women’s associations in Norway, Grazyna Engelvand, head of the International Women’s Association in Avos, Norway, Mrs. Indira, coordinating director of the bar association of Oslo, Hanan Albalkhy, Ambassador of the Syrian opposition coalition in Norway, Ms. Kouhestan, from the Khebat organization of Iranian Kurdistan, and Parviz Khazayi, representative of the National Council of resistance of Iran in the Nordic countries.

At the Oslo meeting commemorating March 8, Ms. Mehrafrouz Peikarnegar and Akram Allahverdi, members of the PMOI (MEK)  and a number of the Iranian community leaders and supporters of the Iranian Resistance gave speeches.

In the Netherlands, the event commemorating March 8 was held in The Hague. At the same time, an exhibition showing the crimes of the Iranian misogynist regime was set up. In this meeting, Father Rosenbahm, a longtime supporter of the Iranian resistance spoke. Also. Ms. Fatemeh Sabet and Zolal Habibi, members of the PMOI (MEK) and other members and supporters of the Iranian resistance delivered speeches in the meeting.
