Rajavi: Only solution for Iran is democratic change with Iranian people and Resistance

Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of IranMain obstacle to change is appeasement policy and terror designation of PMOI at its core and must be abandoned

Following yesterday's remarks by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian regime's President, and on the eve of the meeting of EU, US, Russia and China in London, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran,  dismissed Ahmadinejad's remarks and said: The demagogic and warmongering statements by the president of the regressive regime ruling Iran, shows once again that as the Iranian Resistance declared last summer, [Ali] Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the regime, has with the appointment of Ahmadinejad, declared war on the world community in pursuit of nuclear weapons, export of terrorism and fundamentalism, and in particular interference in Iraq.

Belgian SenateRajavi: Senate resolution is the voice of Belgian and European people’s conscience

Adoption of firm policy on Iranian regime is urged

NCRI - The Belgian Senate unanimously approved a resolution This afternoon, expressing deep concern for “violations of human rights and fundamental liberties” and “public executions, suppression and inhuman punishments, arbitrary arrests, physical and psychological torture, assassination of dissidents and political prisoners, persecution of differing opinions, discrimination against women, and religious and ethnic minorities, and the attacks on freedom of expression and opinion.”  The Senate called on the Belgian Government to “firmly condemn and vigorously protest the Iranian president’s repeated calls for the destruction of Israel and his denial of the genocide against the Jews after the Second World War, and recall its ambassador to Tehran for consultations.”

Necessary steps for change in Iran, peace, tranquility in the region and the world

Mohammad MohaddessinAs the European Union's three major powers prepare to present their latest package of incentives to the religious, terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran, Mr. Mohaddessin, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, sent a letter to Foreign Secretary Jack Straw of the United Kingdom, EU's rotating president, emphasizing that the Tehran regime had engaged in brinkmanship, threatening to resume the nuclear activities in Isfahan facility to extract greater concessions from the EU.

Mohaddessin added, "The clerical regime pursues two objectives in this cat-and-mouse game to which it has resorted since the National Council of Resistance of Iran blew the cover off its 18-year clandestine nuclear activities in August 2002. The first is to gain more time to complete its project to obtain nuclear weapons, considered by the clerical leaders as the sole strategic guarantee for their regime's survival. The second is to gain greater economic, political and security concessions from Western countries."

Mullahs' new propaganda scheme against PMOI, Iranian Resistance

The Iranian society’s explosive situation and the escalating internal feuding among the ruling mullahs foretell of the “countdown” for the clerical regime in Iran. The unprecedented wave of public executions and the implementation of inhuman punishments such as stoning, eye-gouging and limb amputations have failed to thwart the expansion of popular protests and uprisings (numbering more than 1,000 just this year).
