Iran regime determined to continue with its nuclear program PDF Print E-mail

Iranian nuclear plantNCRI - Supreme leader of the clerical regime, Ali Khamenei, said on Wednesday that West knows well that "we are not after nuclear weapons as it is contrary to the political and economic interests of the country and against teachings of Islam," but he reiterated that the regime will continue with its nuclear program without any fear. "Even the world cannot influence the will of Iranian people" to continue with its scientific progress, said Khamenei in reference to the regime's nuclear program.

The mullahs' deputy foreign minister, Mehdi Mostafavi, along with other officials have been calling desperately for resumption of talks with the EU on its nuclear program as western leaders are circulating a draft calling on the UN nuclear watchdog to refer mullahs' regime to the Security Council.

The regime's new call for talks was viewed as yet another ploy to buy time to complete its nuclear weapons program.
