Fire Festival uprising spreads to various cities in IranIran Fire Festival protests – 16

NCRI - In Isfahan, youths set fire to a kiosk belonging to the paramilitary Bassij Force at Hatef Street on the Abdolzareq juncture.

In Kermanshah, despite the presence of State Security Forces, a large number of youths set fire to tires and began their protests.

In Ilam, hundreds of people gathered in front of the Cultural Center of the regime located in the so-called Beheshti Boulevard, and chanted anti-regime slogans.

In Ahvaz, despite heave presence of plainclothes agents, youths protested and used firecrackers and hand-made sound grenades. They formed gatherings in various parts of the city, including Kian Pars, Zeytoun and Lashgarabad. The clerical regime has blocked Kian pars and Saheli Park in order to prevent traffic and people from joining the youth protests.

In Lahijan, youths used firecrackers and bonfires to continue their anti-regime protests.

In Mashhad, despite the blocking of roads by suppressive forces, youths set fire to the pictures of the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and its President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and set off fireworks in Sajjad and Azadshahr streets and Azadi Square.
