 Nationwide uprising – Statement 204

NCRI - Iranian regime has transferred seven students of Shiraz University to Adelabad prison in Shiraz, southern Iran. They were arrested during the attack by the regime’s repressive forces during protests held at the university on November 4.

Iranian regime’s judiciary held a “court session” on Wednesday in Shiraz to determine the status of 48 protesters who were arrested on the same day in the city, but it refused to review the cases of students among them.

In the central city of Esfahan, a student activist was transferred to the city’s Dastgerd prison. He had been detained by State Security Forces during November 4 protests in the city.

In city of Tafresh (central Iran), agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security have arrested seven students at Tafresh University. Two of the detained students are missing and there is no information available on them. A number of other students have been summoned by university authorities.  They have been pressured to spy on their friends and student activists.
