NCRI – Iranian regime violating international laws and has been
condemned 52 times by various UN bodies for its human rights abuses,
Hans Kristian Neerskov, President of the International Sakharov
Committee, said in Copenhagen on Saturday.
Speaking to a rally organized by supporters of the National Council of
Resistance of Iran, he noted that the clerical regime has been behind
many terrorist operations around the world and called for an
international move to stop its growing terrorist threats. To this end
he called for referral of Iranian regime’s nuclear file to UN Security
Council and the world body to deal with the ongoing human rights
violations in Iran.
Neerskov supported the third option offered by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi,
President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, for
regime change through Iranian people and its resistance.
Participants in the rally also condemned mullahs’ president’s remarks
on Israel and violations of human rights in Iran and called for a
decisive policy against the regime. They described Iranian regime a
threat to international peace and security and underlined the need for
democratic change in Iran. They supported Maryam Rajavi’s notion that
Iranian people are capable of bringing changes to Iran and called for
immediate removal of terror tag from the main Iranian opposition, the
People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran. |
