Bush calls Iran regime a "real threat"

NCRI - President George Bush on Wednesday called mullahs’ regime "a real threat" and urged Tehran to prove it does not seek nuclear weapons.

He said: "I called it (Iran) part of the 'axis of evil' for a reason," Bush said in an interview with Fox News. "It's a real threat."

In the meantime Khaled Meshaal, political chief of a Palestinian group, Hamas, said in Tehran on Thursday that it would step up attacks against Israel if that country took military action against Iran.

"Just as Islamic Iran defends the rights of the Palestinians, we defend the rights of Islamic Iran. We are part of a united front against the enemies of Islam," Meshaal told reporters.
"If Israel launches an attack against Iran, we will expand the battlefield," he warned.
