Iran election sham - 2: SMS networks cut off as vote rigging takes place PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 12 June 2009

National Council of Resistance of IranNCRI - In order to pave the way for vote rigging, the religious fascism ruling Iran has since Thursday evening cut off SMS text messaging networks.

Additionally, Interior Ministry personnel have prevented representatives of candidates of rival factions from being present at many of the polling stations.

The election department of the ministry announced earlier on Friday it would prevent official observers from the state inspection organization from entering polling stations.

These actions are all part of the election-rigging process by the regime. The Iranian Resistance on Thursday revealed that the mullahs’ Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had ordered that voter turnout be announced at least 35 million, or more than 75 percent of eligible voters.
