Iran-Resistance: Mullahs' dictatorship is faltering - Maryam Rajavi |

 NCRI - "This struggle will undoubtedly realize Iran's liberation. It
will break the shackles and defeat oppression and injustice," promissed
Mrs. Rajavi in her message to the convention of Iranians residing in
the Netherlands yesterday.
"Demagoguery, conspiracy and slander cannot save it from being
overthrown. No force can prevent the will of the Iranian people for
freedom from prevailing," She reitrated.
The following is the full text of Mrs. Rajavi's message to the convention:
I send you my greetings and laud your initiative to hold this congress in defense of Ashraf City.
Dignified women and men like you who are doing their utmost to defend
the combatants of Iran's freedom and the ideal and honor of the
resistance are a source of pride for the Iranian people and history.
Reactionaries are wrong to think that with repression, terror and
demagoguery they can preserve their faltering regime. With the
perseverance of the Mojahedin and supporters like you, the mullahs
ruling Iran have no future.
Five months ago, as the Iranian Resistance stated, the mullahs
consolidated their regime and declared war on the Iranian people and
the world community.
This conspicuously aggressive policy is in reality an attempt to
control the domestic and international crises engulfing the regime. The
mullahs have reached the conclusion that the continuing pretenses of
moderation and the policy of appeasement would only lead to the
disintegration of the state as a whole. Thus, they are trying to meddle
in Iraq and acquire nuclear weapons to strengthen their dire state.
They have concluded that public discontent has reached explosive
proportions. They have, therefore, stepped up repression and put the
regime on a war footing.
Having reached a deadlock in their policies, the mullahs have concluded
that domestically and internationally their regime is at its most
vulnerable point. European journalists visiting Tehran last week wrote,
"The Iranian regime is an empty shell, but it is trying to put forth a
show of strength by turning the clock back."
The mullahs have reached the definitive conclusion that their survival
depends on the destruction of the Iranian Resistance and specifically
Ashraf City, which is the key factor in overthrowing the regime. In
Ashraf City, they see their own destruction. For this reason, they have
taken up the task of destroying this Resistance, which is the main
cause of the regime being in a deadlock.
Supreme National Security Council, the Qods Force, the ministries of
Intelligence and Security, Foreign Affairs and Guidance as well as
several institutions affiliated with the Supreme Leader have been
tasked with the mandate of destroying Ashraf. Ashraf City is the focal
point attacks and conspiracies by the mullahs in their efforts to
destroy the Resistance's organization.
The Velayat-e faqih regime has engaged in a hysterical mobilization to
use the services of those who lack the ability to continue the struggle
and cannot uphold their obligations, against the Resistance movement.
At the same time, the mullahs have engaged in massive and venomous
propaganda campaign to target the Resistance's foundations, principles,
achievements and honor.
To this end, the ruling mullahs accuse the victims of their crimes and
suppression of committing human rights abuses. How Ironic that the most
brutal dictatorship in the world is shedding crocodile tears for the
lack of democracy within its opposition movement and while gouging out
eyes and chopping off limbs, it cries wolf to save the members of the
Resistance.
The mullahs' conspiracies against the Resistance movement entail
allocating tens of millions of dollars to buy the services of Persian
speaking or foreign nationals to engage in propaganda against the
Resistance.
The Iranian Resistance is aware of the details of the money laundering
schemes directed by the Ministry of Intelligence and Security and other
state agencies as well as documents they have forged.
Members of parliaments, human rights advocates and dignified
personalities such as Mr. Paulo Casaca, the Co-Chair of the Friends of
a Free Iran parliamentary Group in the European Parliament, have arisen
to confront the mullahs' campaign of demonization. For this reason,
they have become the main target of vicious attacks and slanders.
What is the dispute over?
The fight is over the freedom of Iran and Iranians, which is blocked by
the mullahs' regime. The Iranian people are keen on establishing a
democratic society, a republic based on the separation of church and
state and a pluralist form of government which would guarantee
individual and social freedoms as well as equal rights for women and
men in all political, social and economic arenas.
The ruling theocracy has blocked these demands and rejected them.
We say the Iranian people deserve freedom and democracy. This is the
crux of the matter. It is for this reason that the Mojahedin have
remained steadfast in Ashraf City. This is why they have withstood
insecurity, abduction, cutting off of food and medicine rations,
pressures and restrictions.
The perseverance of Ashraf City in the past three years tops all epics
in the past quarter century of Iran's history. For the Mojahedin not
only preserved the main Iranian Resistance movement amid devastating
bombing and horrific conspiracies, including the dangers to destroy the
Resistance and expel and extradite its members, but more importantly,
they upheld the demarcations, principles and political stances of the
Resistance against the clerical regime's onslaught.
Indeed, they have remained steadfast and unflinching, insisting that
the Iranian nation and its organized Resistance would never forsake the
task of toppling the ruling theocracy.
Defending Ashraf City is not only defending the combatants of freedom.
It is defending the ideal of freedom and democracy in Iran which passes
through Ashraf.
The destiny and future of the Iranian people depends on Ashraf, the bastion of freedom.
Thus, whenever you draw the line with the ruling regime in Iran, you
are defending Ashraf. Whenever you expose the enemy's agents, you are
defending Ashraf. Whenever you promote the spirit of resistance and
solidarity, you are defending Ashraf.
This struggle will undoubtedly realize Iran's liberation. It will break the shackles and defeat oppression and injustice.
The mullahs' dictatorship is faltering and is without foundations.
Demagoguery, conspiracy and slander cannot save it from being
overthrown. No force can prevent the will of the Iranian people for
freedom from prevailing.
The future is yours, freedom will triumph.
