NCRI - In tandem with a worldwide protest by Iranians against the
clerical regime's meddling in Iraq, Iranians in Belgium and Norway also
rallied in protest against the mullahs’ interference in that country.
Participants also condemned the abduction of two members of the
People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran in Baghdad last August by the
elements of the clerical regime operating within the Iraqi Interior
Ministry.
Iranians in Norway demanded closure of all torture centers in Iraq
operated by mullahs’ intelligence agents. They called on the
international community and the Multinational Force in Iraq to take
decisive measures to free the two PMOI members.
The demonstrators expressed support for the third option proposed by
Mrs. Rajavi, the Iranian Resistance's President-elect, and said the
only solution to the Iran crisis is neither the failed appeasement
policy nor foreign intervention, but democratic change by the Iranian
people and their resistance.
In an exhibition outside Belgian Foreign Ministry in Brussels, Iranians
displayed aspects of horrific human rights violations in Iran. Families
of PMOI members in Camp Ashraf were also present at the exhibition
exposing mullahs’ terrorist ploys against residents of the camp and a
widespread disinformation campaign against the PMOI to prepare grounds
for terrorist operations against its members in Iraq.
A delegation representing Iranians at the rally met with the head of
the Iran-Iraq section at the Belgian Foreign Ministry to convey the
demands of the rally to participants.
