NCRI – Following a shocking discovery of a detention and torture center
in Iraq ran by agents of the clerical regime, Iranians in Denmark
staged a rally in Copenhagen to protest against the mullahs’ meddling
in Iraq and the abduction of two PMOI members in Baghdad by agents of
the regime last August.
In their rally outside the Danish Foreign Ministry, demonstrators
carried placards reading: “close down the Mullahs' torture chambers in
Iraq,” and "Democracy and Freedom with Maryam Rajavi.”
Participants declared: "we are gathered here to condemn the abduction
of two PMOI members in Iraq who were protected under the Geneva 4th
Convention."
They urged the Danish authorities, as a member of the coalition forces
in Iraq, and the Iraqi government, to intervene and ensure safe release
of the abducted PMOI members. |
