Students protest at Azad University of ShahrerayNCRI – Students covered the cafeteria walkway with food trays in a symbolic move of defiance to the school chancellor at Azad University of Shahreray, in southern suburbs of Tehran on Sunday.  They were protesting to the poor food quality served to the students.

Hundreds of students jammed the cafeteria demanding an explanation by the school's president.

Food quality has become a major factor in student protests this year. On Saturday, in a similar move, 400 Shiraz university students cover the university grounds with the food trays in protest to spoiled food served by at the school's cafeteria which sent 233 students to hospital.
Angry students covered all 500 meters sidewalk between Mofateh Dormitory and their cafeteria with food trays.

With December 6, Student Day just around the corner in Iran, the mullahs' regime is trying desperately to avoid widespread student protests from taking place.

In the past three decades, Student Day has been marked by student protests nationwide. Leading capital schools such as Tehran University and Polytechnic (Amirkabir) have paved the way for other schools to join the moves.
