Sunday, 30 November 2008
Lion and Sun the official symbol of the NCRINCRI - Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Mumbai which left hundreds of casualties, including foreign nationals, and expressed her condolences with the families of the victims.

In a series of terrorist attacks on Wednesday which took place simultaneously in 10 locations, more than 195 people lost their lives and 327 others were wounded in Mumbai, India.

According to media reports, "dozens of Islamic terrorists" attacked rail stations, hotels and other centers throughout the city, causing fear across India by taking citizens hostage including some foreign nationals.

India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a televised message called the attacks the work of those sent from outside India.

Mrs. Rajavi emphasized that the heart of Islamic fundamentalism and the terrorism beats under the mullahs' rule in Iran. It was born with the clerical regime and it will end when the regime changes through the Iranian people and their Resistance.
