iran_ssf_soccerNCRI – Colonel Khancherli, Deputy Chief of the State Security Forces (SSF) – mullahs' suppressive police – in greater Tehran said that 33 were arrested following today's soccer game, the state-run news agency ISNA reported on Friday.

"Police forces have presence in 150 locations throughout the capital to enforce the law and order following the game," Khancherli said.

During the play, on the west side of Azadi Stadium, the fans of both teams clashed with the SSF and plain-cloths agents. They smashed the seats and throw them at the security forces.

It all happened when a young man entered the field and was immediately arrested by the SSF agents in the second half of the game.

Eyewitnesses report from Tehran indicate that the mullahs' regime fearing widespread protests by the youths dispatched tens of thousands of SSF, agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and members of the Special Units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to the scene to contain the crowd.
