Iran: Five hundred Kiyan-Tire factory workers blocked Tehran-Saveh highway PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 13 August 2008

Sample ImageNCRI- This morning, more than 500 protesting kiyan-Tire factory workers blocked Tehran-Saveh highway demanding their unpaid salaries.

The State Security Forces (SSF) -- mullahs' suppressive police – brought in helicopters to suppress the demonstrators.

The workers went on strike on April 12 for the first time when the hand picked management called in the SSF units to crush their demonstration. A number of the workers were arrested in that incident.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all labor organizations and unions, in particular, the International Labor Organization (ILO) to condemn anti-labor policies of the Iranian regime and to support workers' just demands.
