NCRI - In an unprecedented declaration, 1,000 students in Tehran's Alameh University called for expulsion of the president of the university for his mismanagement.
The students accused him of imposing a reign of terror and repression at the university where they are abused or beaten and those critical of the situation expelled from the university.
Signing a common declaration by so many students is very rare and is an indication of growing unity among students in their opposition to the regime. It also indicates that the regime has failed to impose repression and create fear among the students as they defiantly issued a declaration signed by 1,000 of them.
