Resistance supporters demonstrate in Rome PDF Print E-mail

NCRI - Supporters of the Iranian Resistance participated in a demonstration sponsored by human rights organizations in Rome, Italy on Sunday, April 8, 2007. This demonstration was organized within the framework of a campaign to abolish the death penalty by the United Nations.

The demonstration started at "Piazza Venezia" in front of the Rome City Hall. The Resistance supporters carrying Iranian flags and pictures of mass executions in Iran marched towards the "Vatican City."

The participation of Resistance supporters was warmly received by Italian citizens and the media. Sky TV and La Republica interviewed some of the demonstrators.
