NCRI - A 19-year-old girl is to be executed in Iran according to Aftab state-run daily. Delara Darabi has been alleged to have murdered a woman when she was 17. Her death sentence was issued by a clerical court in the city of Rasht (northern Iran) and endorsed by mullahs' high court despite her denial of committing the crime.
She is a painter and engaged to a man who is sentenced to imprisonment for his involvement in the alleged crime.

NCRI - Iranian regime rejected any plans denying its will to enrich uranium in the country. "As we said before we want to have enrichment inside Iran. Any proposal which is based on this principle will be studied," Spokesman to Ahmadinejad's government, Gholam Hossein Elham, said on Monday. This is considered a clear rejection of the Russian proposal to enrich uranium for the regime on Russian soil.
"We are studying the Russian proposal based on this framework, the government will never give up its principles," the spokesman declared.

NCRI - Iranian regime's agreement to discuss Moscow's plan to enrich uranium in Russia does not mean that Tehran has abandoned its drive to enrich uranium on its own soil, said Javad Vaeedi, deputy of the mullahs' Supreme National Security Council on Friday.
Russian proposal which is backed by Washington and the European Union, involves the creation of a joint Iranian-Russian company to enrich uranium in Russia.
The plan has been put forward by Moscow to try to allay international concerns that Iranian regime could manufacture highly enriched uranium on its own soil to build atomic weapons.

LA Daily News - When U.S. Rep. Brad Sherman found a moment alone with President George W. Bush at a recent White House holiday party, the Sherman Oaks Democrat homed in on the probability of Iran acquiring nuclear weapons.
A few weeks later, at an Oval Office bill signing, Sherman again raised the issue, handing Bush a five-page memo detailing the steps he believes the administration should be taking.

figures, anti-government rallies in Iran grew by 74% in the period of
November 11 to December 10.
The above figures are based on information gathered by the Iranian

network in the country and the regime’s own official reports.

WORLD MUST TAKE STRONGER STAND AGAINST THREAT
Miami Herald - If nothing else, the rantings of President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad have erased whatever doubt may have existed about the
dangers posed by a nuclear-armed Iran. Ever since the former mayor of
Tehran was elected to head the country in mid-2005, he has repeatedly
displayed open hostility toward the West, and Israel in particular.
It's time for other nations to join the United States in a campaign to
block Iran's drive to speed up its nuclear-development program.
