NCRI - On January 4, Shiraz University students protested against the detention of four students of this university by the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), and clashed with the regime’s security agents, while chanting “Death to dictator,” and “Pinochet, Pinochet, Iran won’t become Chile.”

Student demonstration in the streets of Shiraz NCRI – Following the arrest of four students of Shiraz University on Saturday by the mullahs' notorious Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), the students took to the streets to gain their release in the southern city of Shiraz.

The detained students were identified as Abdol-jalil Rezaii, Kazem Rezaii, Mohsen Zarrin Kamar, and Loghman Ghadiri Goltappeh. Officials from the MOIS avoid responding to inquiries from families of these students on Sunday.

Hanging nooseNCRI – Four prisoners were hanged by the mullahs' judiciary without identifying them in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas on Sunday, according to the Resistance sources in Iran. 

In the past week alone nine prisoners were hanged by the mullahs' inhuman regime in various locations around the country.

Angry workers blocked the gate to Hekmataneh Petrochemical FactoryNCRI – 150 workers of Hekmataneh Petrochemical Factory blocked the main gate to the facility not allowing heavy construction machinery to entre the factory grounds on Wednesday. 

The workers are on strike since December 11 over their unpaid salaries for past four months.

Hanging nooseNCRI – A prisoner identified as Hoshang Kh. was hanged in the northeastern province of Khorasan, the state-run daily Khorasan reported on Wednesday.

The mullahs' judiciary hanged another man without identifying him in the central city of Arak, reported the semi-official news agency Fars on Wednesday.

800 workers lost their jobs in northern Iran NCRI – 800 workers lost their jobs in Iran Popelean Factory in the northern city of Rasht, reported the state-run daily Etemaad on Tuesday.

Iran Poplins is a textile factory which declared bankruptcy last week. But the workers have gathered outside the complex in protest.

An archive photo of two men stoned to deathNCRI – Two prisoners were stoned by the mullahs' judiciary in Behesht-Reza cemetery in the holy city of Mashhad.

One of the victims managed to get out of the hole while the other died of stones. The two men were sentenced to death by stoning at the same time. However, one of them identified as Mahmoud escaped with minor injures.
