Iran: Two prisoners hanged in Zahedan

A hanging noose widely used in Iran to execute prisonersNCRI – The mullahs' inhuman regime hanged two prisoners identified only by their initials as A.M. and Kh.N. in the southeastern city of Zahedan, reported the state-run news agency Fars on Monday.

The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed his concern over the rights of women and minorities in Iran, as well as over the death penalty, including juvenile executions and stoning, in a new report to the General Assembly on the country’s human rights situation on October 22.

Iran: A top IRGC commander admits to arming 'freedom armies' in the region

Brig. Gen. Hossein Hamedani a top IRGC commanderNCRI – Brig. Gen. Hossein Hamedani, deputy commander of the paramilitary Bassij Forces said on Sunday that Iran is arming "freedom armies," according to Sepah News, the official Farsi language website of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

"Today, not only our armed forces are self sufficient but the freedom armies of the region get part of their weaponry from us," said Hamedani.

Eight out of nine members of national weight lifting team used steroid in their international competitions.

Weight lifting has been one of the very few athletic fields that Iranians have had good chances of brining medals.

Iran: A prisoner soon will face gallows in Isfahan

An IRGC agent in IranNCRI – A prisoner was transferred to solitary confinement on Saturday in preparation to face gallows soon in the central city of Isfahan, according to right groups in Iran.
 
The 20-year-old man identified as Gholamreza Saeedi is an Afghan national accused of murder two years ago.

Iran: Burying remains of the Iran-Iraq war in schools

Teachers Training School grounds NCRI – Twenty years after the end of the eight-year-long Iran-Iraq war the remains of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) soldiers are being buried in Iranian universities.

It all began with the notion of preserving the idea of what the mullahs called the "culture of fighting in fronts" for new generations.

Iran: Fifty students were summoned to 'Disciplinary Committee' in Shiraz

Student protests at Shiraz UniversityNCRI – Fifty students were summoned to Shiraz University's "Disciplinary Committee" on Saturday. Apparently the reason for new move by the school's officials was "immodest dressing" on campus.

Since the start of new Iranian school year on September 22, a total of 70 students have been summoned to the committee.

Iran: A man beaten to death in Isfahan prison

Man beaten to death by the SSF agents in the central city of IsfahanNCRI – Following a brief riot in prison in the central city of Isfahan, the rioters were sent to salutary confinement cells on October 18.

One of the prisoners suspect of starting the protests in the jail identified as Reza Shojaii was tortured to death by his jail keepers.
