In a brazen blackmail aimed at preventing referral of its nuclear file
to UN Security Council, the clerical regime threatens to resume work at
Isfahan and Natanz sites
In its lead article yesterday, entitled, “Don’t threaten us with the
Security Council,” the daily Kayhan, controlled by Supreme Leader Ali
Khamenei and close to mullahs’ new president, wrote brazenly that under
no circumstances would the regime abandon “using nuclear fuel cycle
technology.”

The clerical regime's henchmen publicly hanged two young boys in Edalat (Justice) Square in Mashhad (northeast Iran). One was 18 and the other below 18 years of age.
Before hanging the victims, the henchmen flogged each of them 228 times. The executioners wore masks fearing reprisals and anti-riot forces put the entire area under their control to prevent outbreak of public protests. |

A handful of religious fascists are working to hijack a religion with
1.2 billion followers. Instead of preaching peace and tolerance, as the
Koran proscribes, they preach the most vitriolic, violent and
inflammatory diatribe.
These men do not hide their apocalyptic,
sectarian intentions; in fact they put their conspiracy theories and
hate on the stage every week during Friday prayer sermons.

Mrs. Rajavi heads the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI),
the political front for the militant People's Mujahedeen that, with
thousands of other Iranian exiles, yearns for the overthrow of the
mullahs' regime in Iran.
The recent election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a hard-liner, is
widely interpreted as a move by the mullahs to consolidate their power.
Mrs. Rajavi calls him a "terrorist" who, she says. was involved in an
attempt to assassinate Salman Rushdie and other enemies of the Iranian
regime.

Mullahs acknowledge two-year talks with EU-3 added to Tehran's nuclear capability
Simultaneous with the EU foreign ministers' meeting in Brussels, the

Tens of thousands of workers staged strikes across Iran on Saturday to
protest the clerical regime’s suppressive and anti-labor laws as well
as the lack of the minimum means of subsistence.
At the time of spiraling inflation and skyrocketing prices, lack of
wage increases, non-payment of wages, insurance deductions, absence of
assistance, such as coupons, and no promotions have left millions of
workers extremely vulnerable in the face of inflation and high prices.

Chanting antigovernment slogans, thousands of people in Mashad (capital
of the northeastern Khorassan Province) staged a protest following a
soccer match last Friday.
Young people clashed with the suppressive forces after intelligence
agents and State Security Forces tried to crush the protests.
The demonstration went on well in to the night in Samen-ol A’emeh
soccer stadium and nearby streets and districts throughout the city.
Hundreds were wounded or arrested. Those detained were taken to unknown
locations and no news is available about their whereabouts. So
widespread were the arrests that a state-run news agency admitted the
arrest of 100 protesters.
