The Iranian Resistance's President-elect, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, offered her condolences to the bereaved family of a 23-year-old young man who was tragically shot and killed by the Revolutionary Guards. She called on the international community to condemn this anti-human and anti-Islamic crime by the mullahs' regime.

The state-run daily Hamshahri wrote that 23-year-old Seyyed Mostafa was shot and killed by the State Security Forces in Tehran's Delgosha Street on Friday for not observing a fast during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event, hosted by the Global Coalition Against Fundamentalism, focused on mullahs’ interference in Iraq and the implications of its meddling in the Iraqi constitutional referendum on the main Iranian opposition group, People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), based in Camp Ashraf, Iraq.

Iran-stoning: Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning

Agence France Presse, TEHRAN, October 15 - An Iranian women found guilty of having an extra-marital affair with an Afghan and being an accomplice in the murder of her husband has been sentenced to death by stoning, a press report said Saturday.

The Shargh newspaper identified the woman by her first name of Soghra, and said the killing took place in the Varamin district south of Tehran.

The woman's lover, only identified as Ali Reza, was sentenced to death for committing the murder.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John BoltonReuters, LONDON, October 15 - U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton accused Iran of spending the last 18 years trying to develop nuclear weapons to intimidate the Middle East and "possibly to supply to terrorists".

Bolton, in an interview with the BBC broadcast late on Friday, said Iran had lied about its nuclear programme and said the international community needed to react.
