workers_protest_iranNCRI – More 600 Pars paper mill factory workers gathered outside the governor's office in the southwestern city of Shoosh on Monday. The protesters demanded their unpaid salaries for the past six months.

They chanted anti-government slogans, "God is great, we are hungry" and "Is there anyone to help us?"

Iran: A Sunni clergy was guned down in Piranshahr

azim_abad_iranNCRI – A Sunni clergy, Abu-Baker Qaderiani was guned down by two unknown gunmen outside his house in the northwestern city of Piranshahr.

In similar attempt, Abu-Baker Tina another Sunni clergy was also killed in the northwestern city of Mahabad last week.

Iran: A Christian clergy was arrested in Orumieh

church_Orumieh_iranNCRI – The mullahs' inhuman regime arrested a Christian clergy and seized all his belongings including CDs of biblical scriptures on September 26.

Four agents from local office of the notorious Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) in the morning of Monday September 26 raided a house belonging to pastor Shrewder Yadgar a member of the Evangelical Church in the northwestern city of Orumieh.

Iran: Martial law in the streets of Shiraz

Iran: Mullahs' regime geared up for another soccer game

soccer_game_iranNCRI – Chief of the State Security Forces (SSF) – mullahs' suppressive police – Preparedness Unit in greater Tehran announced that from the early hours of next Friday its forces will be monitoring every suspicious move on the part of the soccer fans, reported the official news agency IRNA on Wednesday.

The soccer game between two prestigious capital clubs is on in Azadi Stadium on Friday afternoon.

Iran: Opposition's SMS messages worries the regime

sms_barred_iranNCRI - In recent days a number of senior officials of the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance (MCIG), the main body for imposing censorship, have expressed its deep concern over the use of SMS messaging by the Iranian Resistance’s network inside Iran.

Sarami, Vice-president of MCIG’s Center for Development of Information Technology, said: “Mojahedin [the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK)] is exploiting country’s communication network to spread their anti-revolutionary SMS messages,”   the state-run daily Qods reported on Tuesday, September 30.

Iran: Mullahs Interior Minister admits not holding Oxford University degree

oxford_kordan_iranNCRI – After two months of controversy, the mullahs’ disgraced Interior Minister, Ali Kordan, admitted that he never held an Oxford University degree.

In his letter to Ahmadinejad, he regretted that his degree was forged and he claimed that he has pressed charges against an unnamed individual who had given him the honorary degree in Iran.

Iran: Ahmadinejad feared to attend university's reopening

tehran_university_iranNCRI - Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in fear of widespread student protests skipped his annual speech on the occasion of schools' reopening at Tehran University on Monday.

Despite days of preparations and public announcements, at the last minute he canceled his attendance.

"Contrary to past three years, the President will not give his speech on the occasion of school reopening day at Tehran University. Instead, his deputy, Mr. Davoodi will attend the ceremonial event," the state-run TV broadcast said.

Iran: A 21-year-old man hanged in Kermanshah prison
