NCRI – More than 1,000 protesting residents turned up in Zaveh Township near the eastern city of Torbateh-Hedareh on Thursday.
The participants block the highway between Torbat-Heydarieh and Dolat-Abad by burning tires. The protests sparked following the mullahs' regime refusal to accept the township as a city with all its rights. |

NCRI – Colonel Khancherli, Deputy Chief of the State Security Forces (SSF) – mullahs' suppressive police – in greater Tehran said that 33 were arrested following today's soccer game, the state-run news agency ISNA reported on Friday.
"Police forces have presence in 150 locations throughout the capital to enforce the law and order following the game," Khancherli said. |
